Coconut husk chips are a natural, sustainable substrate to add to your planting media. Often added to soil mixes, coco husk helps increase drainage and aeration, giving roots the oxygen and space they need to thrive. It's especially well-suited for tropical houseplants like philodendron, anthurium, monstera, syngonium, orchids, and pothos.

The chips are moisture-retentive without staying too soggy, which makes them ideal for promoting root health in humid conditions. They can also be used on their own as a loose, absorbent bedding substrate for reptiles. Whether you're customizing a potting mix or setting up a terrarium, coconut husk chips offer a clean, eco-friendly solution.

Chip size: 5mm to 20mm, suited for medium to large root systems.

This product is packed in reclosable, recyclable #4 plastic bags, and to reduce waste, we may reuse shipping materials.

Caution: contains fine particles and occasional sharp material; we recommend using gloves and working in a well-ventilated area.

These are nice large coconut chips, good and chunky, and very good quality. A great sustainable option and really good for an add-on to give soil more aeration and drainage. But everything I order from this shop is always extremely good quality! They come well packaged and very quickly in the mail. I was also very impressed and grateful that she took the time to look into accommodating my special shipping request as well. I know it took time and effort, as well as patience, and she really went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to receive my order as easily as possible. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
