Recommended mixes
Aroid Mix - aroids and other tropical plants such as: anthurium, hoya, philodendron, monstera, epipremnum (pothos), alocasia, syngonium, scindapsus, etc.
Just The Chunks - for maximum drainage and aeration. Contains only the chunky ingredients from our Aroid Mix.
Orchid Mix - phalaenopsis (moth) orchids and other epiphytes.
Carnivorous Mix - for bog loving plants such as venus flytraps, sundew, nepenthes (pitcher plants), butterworts.
Where we source products
Our growing media ingredients are sourced from all around the world, including but not limited to Canada, USA, Sri Lanka, Austria, New Zealand, etc. Our premade potting mixes are created in our Ontario-based workshop with the ingredients from locations mentioned above. Most of our plastic and acrylic products are manufactured in China and Taiwan.
Where we ship from
We ship from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Local pickup is available during checkout, contact us for pickup address! All other packages will include a tracking number.
Where we ship to
We currently ship to Canada, USA, and some other countries. If there are no shipping options available, please contact us - we might be able to ship to you with a custom service!
Import duties and taxes
We have updated our checkout process to calculate duties for orders going outside of Canada; these parcels will be delivered duty paid, but may still be subject to your local taxes. Please stay updated with your region's import laws.
Processing times
All order processing will usually take 1-3 business days, please allow for longer processing times for large or custom orders.
Packaging
To reduce waste and cut down on costs, we often reuse boxes and other packing material for your orders. As a result, your package may look a bit different every time.
What delivery companies we use
To keep costs low, we utilize numerous third-party delivery services. The carrier you select may be replaced by a different service based on pricing and speed.
Missing parcels
If your tracking info shows "Delivered" and you have not received your parcel, please contact us immediately. We will escalate the issue with our postal service in order to provide a refund or replacement.
